My favorite Christmas cd is Mindy Smith's My Holiday. It's a bluegrass/jazz bare-bones album featuring lots of new, original holiday songs as well as some old classics. Her voice is sweet and pure, like a soulful Alison Kraus.

Movie recommendation is An Affair to Remember starring Deborah Kerr and Cary Grant. He's a poet trapped in the life of a wealthy playboy, she's the adorable no-nonsense woman who steals his heart. VERY romantic.
